Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

Managing the day to day operations of the admissions office, the program management specialist will ensure that all current and prospective students receive excellent consultative service, advise prospective students on program fit and recommend next steps, and consult with appropriate recruitment funnel to advance the prospective students’ candidacy.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelors degree.

Experience: 
  • 2 years experience in administrative staff work.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a non-profit or for-profit setting, preferably in an admissions environment.
  • 2 or more years of database management experience. 

Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Thurought knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point; Application and CRM databases. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive materials and information with professional discretion and tact. 
  • Ability to work in a highly independent manner across functions within the school. 
  • Proven ability to make effective use of time, set priorities, plan ahead, and manage multiple projects. 
  • Ability to pay strict attention to details. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written, with applicants, faculty, corporate clients, executives and staff. 
  • Proven ability to respond positively to pressures of time and workload. 
  • Friendly, flexible, and positive service-oriented demeanor.
