| Position Highlights | The Department of Biosystems Engineering invites applicants for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate I. This position is for the NACA project and will install and maintain irrigation systems and sensors, conduct irrigation, collect plant and soil data, fly drones to obtain remote sensing data, conduct laboratory analysis, perform data analysis, and prepare publications for peer-reviewed journals. Experience in crop water management, remote sensing, drone image processing, and drone operation is desired. The successful candidate must have good understanding of irrigation engineering technologies (sensors, subsurface drip irrigation, fertigation equipment, and irrigation models). This is a year-to-year appointment, contingent upon funding and performance.
