The Department of Radiation Oncology has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Research Study Coordinator.  

This position supports research studies involving human subjects within the department. The Research Study Coordinator will work closely with physicians and staff to provide data analysis and project assistance for research protocols. This position is responsible for assisting with data/project management activities and for data accuracy and integrity associated with clinical research.  This position is supervised by and reports to the Research Manager.

The Department of Radiation Oncology is an integral part of the Cancer Program at the University of Washington and a major contributor to the contribution margin of each of the centers at which we provide professional services: University of Washington Medical Center-Montlake (UWMC-ML); Gamma Knife Center at Harborview Medical Center (HMC); Fred Hutchinson Cancer Care-South Lake Union (FHCC-SLU); FHCC at UWMC-Northwest (FHCC@ UWMC-NW); the Seattle Proton Therapy Center (SPTC); FHCC-Peninsula in Poulsbo; Seattle Children’s Hospital (SCH); and the Seattle Puget Sound VA Medical Center.  We have 31 physician faculty, 30 science PhD faculty, 8 APP faculty, 10 radiation oncology residents, and 4 medical physics residents on staff with additional postdoctoral scholars and graduate students participating in various research projects in radiation biology and molecular medicine, medical physics, and radiation chemistry.
