A Postdoctoral Fellowship position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Vikas Dudeja within the Department of Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and creative investigator in the field of molecular biology / immunology.
Dr. Dudeja is the Director of the Division of Surgical Oncology at the UAB Hospital and his lab conducts cutting-edge and translational research on pancreatic Cancer and pancreatitis. His lab is highly accomplished and has a good publication record. He also has multiple ongoing clinical trials.
The prospective candidate must be well acquainted and experienced in basic research techniques including cell culture, flow cytometry, western blot, microscopy, PCR and mice handling among others. A background in immunology is highly desirable.
