The Department of Psychology, within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks a Research Technician to join our team. The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college and the academic heart of the university. The College hosts 81 majors. The Research Technician will be responsible for conducting research in collaboration with Dr. Pek in the Department of Psychology at OSU. Research projects will include, but not limited to, topics associated with power analysis, directional effects, and psychometrics. Responsibilities will include developing new methodology, designing and conducting simulation studies, analyzing empirical data, and assisting with the publication and dissemination of results. The research technician will support research conducted by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in Dr. Pek’s research lab. 

Minimum Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in psychology or related behavioral science field.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least one year of relevant experience is required. Expertise in coding empirical articles and textbooks for meta-science research on methodology
Knowledge in R and other statistical software

Additional Information:

The pay range for this job profile is $13.89-$18.51. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
