Job Summary | The Department of Biological Sciences is looking to fill the role of Research Assistant in the Wolak Research Group Beetle Lab. This position will be responsible for routing day-to-day operations and normal functions of the Wolak Research Group Beetle Lab and all associated research, outreach, and educational activities. In addition the Research Assistant I position will support the Principal Investigator, postdoctoral fellows, as well as graduate and undergraduate students during the development of experiments that performed in the beetle lab. 7 Reasons Why You’ll Love Being a Research Assistant at AUBURN:

Minimum Qualifications | Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Biology, Genetics, Ecology, or related field and no experience. |

Desired Qualifications
Desired Qualifications | Demonstrated experience working in an insect or quantitative genetics research lab. Demonstrated proficiency with R, Linux, bash coding, and/or data management. Demonstrated experience mentoring high school and undergraduate researchers. In addition, a strong ability to accomplish tasks independently is desired. |
