Job Description


A postdoctoral fellow position is available in Division of Biotechnology Review and Research 1, Office of Biotechnology Products, CDER, FDA.  This position will be appointed via a fellowship from ORISE (see http://orise.orau.gov/fda/ ). ORISE fellowships are available for U.S. citizens, non-citizens with permanent resident status or EAD, or non-citizens that are eligible for a J-1 visa and have resided in the US for at least 3 of the last 5 years for the Office of Personnel Management to be able to complete a background check.


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual with a Ph.D. degree, 0-5 years of postdoctoral experience, and a demonstrated record of scientific productivity.

The successful candidate will conduct research on therapeutic monoclonal antibodies, biosimilars and bispecific antibodies. A background in biochemistry, molecular and cell biology with experience in common biochemical, molecular and cell biology techniques is essential. Expertise with physicochemical and biological characterization of antibody therapeutics is desirable.
