Salary: from $50,000

Job Summary

The Monthly Giving Director for Boys & Girls Club is a vital member of the development team, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive monthly giving program to secure sustainable and recurring financial support for the organization. The role involves creating engagement strategies, cultivating relationships with monthly donors, and driving growth in the monthly giving donor base.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

1. Monthly Giving Program Management

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to establish and expand the organization's monthly giving program, setting clear goals and targets.
  • Create compelling messaging and materials to promote monthly giving opportunities to both current and potential donors.

2. Donor Engagement and Stewardship

  • Implement strategies to identify, cultivate, and retain monthly donors, ensuring a high level of donor satisfaction and engagement.
  • Develop personalized stewardship plans to acknowledge and recognize monthly donors for their ongoing support.

3. Digital Fundraising and Marketing

  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop and optimize online campaigns, email marketing, and social media efforts to promote monthly giving.
  • Utilize digital platforms and fundraising tools to facilitate easy and convenient monthly donations.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Regularly analyze and report on the performance of the monthly giving program, including donor retention rates, growth metrics, and revenue projections.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve the effectiveness of the program.

5. Collaborative Outreach

  • Work closely with the development team to integrate monthly giving strategies into broader fundraising initiatives, events, and campaigns.
  • Partner with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and donor engagement across all touchpoints.

6. Donor Communication

  • Create and manage a communication plan to keep monthly donors informed about the impact of their contributions and the organization's achievements.
  • Respond promptly to donor inquiries and provide excellent customer service to maintain strong donor relationships.

7. Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the monthly giving program budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

8. Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead a team of fundraising professionals and support staff focused on monthly giving initiatives, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

Skills/Knowledge Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a focus on monthly giving or recurring giving programs.
  • Proven track record of successfully growing and managing a monthly giving program.
  • Strong understanding of fundraising principles, donor segmentation, and engagement strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling fundraising messages.
  • Proficiency in donor management software and fundraising platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Passion for the mission of the Boys & Girls Club and a commitment to supporting youth development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Nonprofit management: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Fundraising: 4 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
