JOB PURPOSE:

The Associate Director of Program Services is responsible for the oversight and administration of OVRS systems that ensure compliance with governing rules and that promote quality outcomes and performance improvement throughout the Agency. The Associate Director of Program Services utilizes data analysis to assess and promote efficient, effective use of programmatic resources. Under the general direction of the Chief Director of Program Operations, the Associate Director of Program Services assists in management oversight of a wide range of critical support services with the goal to increase the effectiveness of OVRS services and personnel.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

o Minimum of a BA/BS in Human Services related field

o Preferred project and compliance management experience

o Minimum of 2 (two) year experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities

o Minimum of 2 (two) year supervisory experience

o Valid driver license and ability to pass OVRS fleet insurability requirements including 3 years driving experience

o Vehicle that can be used on the job

o Ability to pass employment standards as defined by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities

o Must obtain and maintain certification in Medication Administration, First Aid and CPR

o Computer skills including ability to use all Microsoft Office programs

o Experience with implementing and managing database systems

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the mission and value statement of OVRS and Person Centered Planning.

  • Advocates for the individuals served by OVRS to ensure the health, well being and rights of each individual.
  • Assist with ensuring that sites are compliant with State of Ohio Department of DD regulations.
  • Analyze service utilization patterns and recommend business processes to respond to data trends.
  • Coordinate the implementation of OVRS policies and procedures.
  • Fulfill the duties of HIPPA Compliance Officer.
  • Participate in investigation of issues as delegated by Chief Director of Program Services
  • Provide oversight and audit review of OVRS Quality Assurance Process
  • Provide oversight of the OVRS electronic client record system and process
  • Provide oversight of OVRS professional development training which includes providing staff training as the back up to the OVRS Professional Development Coordinator position
  • Provide backup coverage when Chief Director of Program Operations is out
  • Provide backup coverage when a Program Coordinator position is vacant.
  • Provide input to Chief Director of Program Operations related to collaboration with other agencies, service/support teams and family members of individuals served by OVRS to facilitate implementation of service/support plan and positive working relationships.
  • Attend ongoing professional training and recommends staff development training based on the needs of individuals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
