Position Summary:
 
The Manager of the radiation-induced ultrasound imaging facilities at UCI TRUE lab is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Ultrasound Imaging Facility. This includes managing various types of ultrasound machines and customized devices, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, assisting postdoctoral fellows and doctoral students in experiments, and performing image reconstruction. The manager will also be involved in complex research projects, collaborating with other labs locally, nationally, and internationally. The position requires expertise in ultrasound imaging and device management, as well as proficiency in electronical devices. The manager must stay updated with the latest developments in the field and maintain records of software and quality assurance checks. Additionally, the manager will be involved in animal-related procedures and histology work as assigned.

$27.87 - $35.37 (Hourly Rate) Expected Pay Range within the Full Salary Range $27.87 - $44.85 (Hourly Rate)


 


Required:
 
1. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering, applied physics, biomedical engineering, or equivalent. 2. Lab research experience and familiarity with ultrasound imaging and related techniques. 3. Experience working with animals (rats, mice) is preferred. 4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
