Job Summary: | We invite applications for faculty positions in the broad areas of cellular biology and developmental neuroscience. Successful candidates will be expected to establish a vigorous, innovative, and independent research program, and participate in teaching and scientific community involvement. They will join a highly interactive, interdisciplinary group of faculty, students, and fellows, who investigate many aspects of cell and developmental biology, including intracellular organelles, inter/intracellular signaling and quantitative cell biology. The neuroscience research in the department includes investigations on taste and smell sensory systems, glial cells, and ion channels. | |

Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Neuroscience, or a related field. and first authored publications in notable journals. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates should have a strong record of research accomplishments, including history of research funding, preferably with NIH, NSF, or appropriate private postdoctoral funding, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to establish a vigorous, innovative, and independent research program. | |
