| Job Summary | Latinx Sexualities Postdoctoral Fellow University of Utah The University of Utah’s School for Cultural and Social Transformation (Transform) in partnership with the College of Humanities and the College of Social and Behavioral Science (CSBS), seeks applicants for a two-year postdoctoral research/teaching position with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2024. Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. by the time of their appointment. The Fellow’s research interests will engage with interdisciplinary scholarship that may include, but is not limited to trans studies, disability studies, environmental studies, migration and immigration, decolonial and feminist theories, Indigeneity, Afro-Latinidades, and social justice activism. The Latinx Sexualities Postdoctoral Fellow will be supported by mentors who will integrate them into the Division, College, and University and connect them to professional development opportunities related to teaching and scholarship. The Fellow will pursue their own research and teach one course based on their specialization in the Division of Gender Studies and one course in any of the units in the College of Humanities or the College of Social and Behavioral Science. They will also deliver one presentation of their work-in-progress; participate in Gender Studies, Transform, and College of Humanities and CSBS events; and partake in scholarly exchange at and beyond the University of Utah. The salary will be $60,000 per year plus access to health benefits, with $2,000 per year for research/travel.
