Position Highlights | The Kenry Lab at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology of the University of Arizona is seeking two postdoctoral research associates to join its newly formed team. With expertise in nanomaterials, bioimaging, photo/immunotherapy, and machine learning, the Kenry Lab adopts data-driven and bioinspired approaches to design and build novel platform tools and models to achieve more personalized, targeted, and safer cancer immunotheranostics.
In this exciting role, the candidates are expected to advance the research vision of the Kenry Lab by leading the computational (position 1) and experimental (position 2) efforts of the group. The candidate for position 1 should possess strong programming/coding expertise in R or Python and substantial experience in developing machine learning algorithms to address questions in either nano- or biosciences. The candidate for position 2 should have extensive wet lab experience in nanomaterial formulation and characterization and in vitro cell and molecular biology. The candidates will have plenty of opportunities to interact and collaborate with researchers from different departments across the University of Arizona.
