In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:  The Art+Design and Performing Arts Department seeks motivated candidates with a strong dance background with the ability to teach introductory courses in Hip Hop and Contemporary.

 


Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  The successful candidate must possess a minimum of a Master's Degree.  The successful candidate must also possess a BFA or BA in Dance. One year of practical experience is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Prior community college teaching experience and dance experience in hip hop and contemporary is strongly preferred.

 


Additional Information:

POSITION EFFECTIVE: Fall 2023.

HOURLY RATE OF PAY: The hourly rate of pay is $82.57.  No benefits.
