  JOB DUTIES
  

Under the direction of the Principal Investigator,  the Lab Assistant will work with the team to develop, grow and screen organoid cultures, run and develop assays, perform immunohistochemistry and other basic cancer cell biology techniques, maintain the lab database and contribute to other tasks as needed.

  JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  

·       B.S. degree or higher ·       Previous lab experience ·       Previous experience with tumor organoids ·       Ability to exercise good organization and work habits ·       Skill in writing legible, concise lab notes and protocols ·       Ability to perform data entry using a PC ·       Ability to organize work ·       Ability to shift priorities and adapt to change ·       Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellows and students ·       Ability to work independently and to take direction ·       Sterile technique ·       Mammalian tissue culture
