Job Description

Job Duties -

-Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and implement hydro-biogeochemical models (40%)

-Collaborating with researchers, stakeholders, and project partners to ensure effective communication and dissemination of research findings (5%)

-Preparing and publishing research papers in peer-reviewed journals (30%)

-Presenting research findings at conferences, workshops, and seminars (5%)

-Supervising graduate and undergraduate students (10%)

-Preparing educational material, as appropriate (5%)

-Performing other duties as assigned (5%)

Required Education and Experience -

-Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering or a related field.

-Experience in analyzing large datasets and applying statistical methods to model outputs.
 

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities -

-Familiarity with geospatial data analysis and modeling tools (e.g., GIS, remote sensing) is desirable.

-Demonstrated ability to publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.

-Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

-Strong background in hydro-biogeochemical modeling, with experience in model development and implementation.

-Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python, for scientific computation and numerical modeling.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
