Summary

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences are seeking a psychologist who will work as a clinical director to support the programming related to the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program apart of the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium initiative. This will include clinical supervision, direct service, oversight of data management, and stakeholder liaison.


Job Duties
  • Provides clinical supervision to behavioral health specialists, social workers, and case managers on TCHATT therapy team. Ensures resources and information is distributed across therapy team. 
  • Partners with TCHATT Business Operational Lead to address clinical concerns, and referral issues with collaborating independent school districts.
  • Ensures proper timely clinician documentation is obtained across all platforms, specifically Trayt (i.e., session documentation, archrivals, completion of symptom and functioning measures).
  • Collaborates with TCMHCC Medical Director on clinical processes and clinical team needs.
  • Partners with TCHATT Business Operational Lead for independent school district presentations, and other marketing endeavors for TCHATT.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Ph.D., Psy.D.) in Psychology.

 

Experience:

  • One year of directly related experience (which can include postdoctoral training).
  • Experience in mental health administration, policies, and procedures. Understanding of governmental regulations, laws, programs, and agencies affecting trainee and faculty mental health including licensure.
  • Certification/Licenses/Registration: Licensure as a Psychologist or Professional Counselor by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists or the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, respectively.
