Position Summary | The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Memphis (UofM) invites applications for a two-year post-doctoral position in Analysis beginning Fall 2023. Preference will be given to candidates in functional analysis, especially those whose research programs and interests are compatible with current U of M faculty in the area of analysis and their applications. Candidates must have received a Ph.D. within the last 3 years; demonstrate potential for excellence in research; and have a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching. The teaching load will be three semester courses per year. Salary is competitive and includes benefits. Some past experience with soliciting external funds for research is desirable, for an application to be fully competitive.
