Position Summary
The Department of Accounting, Finance, and Entrepreneurship in the College of Business invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Finance position beginning August 2023.
Candidates who possess academic and scholarship qualifications in multiple subdisciplines of finance are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
Minimum Required Education
Must have a Ph.D., DBA, or be in final ADB status from an AACSB accredited institution in Finance or in other closely-related business fields with documented scholarship in Finance.
Applications from scholarly-active individuals who are qualified as Scholarly Academics (SA) based on the College’s faculty qualifications standards will be considered.

Qualifications
Must be qualified and have interest to teach in MBA/Ph.D. graduate programs and serve as a member of Ph.D. dissertations committee.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Job duties and responsibilities include, but are no limited to:
- Teaching undergraduate and graduates Finance courses (day/evening courses, off-campus locations, and online)
- Teaching a full course load
- Demonstrating a continuous commitment to teaching excellence
- Providing academic advising
- Engaging in continuous appropriate research that produces high-quality scholarly journal publications to maintain Scholarly Academic qualification
- Serving on Ph.D. dissertation committees
- Contributing to curriculum development
- Supporting the Department and College
- Participating in university and community service through participation on College and University committees
- Providing support to the professional academic community
- Maintaining the ability and desire to work in a student-centered environment
- Assuming other instructional and service related duties as assigned
