Job Description


Central Virginia Community College is located in Lynchburg, Virginia, in view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. CVCC is a comprehensive two-year institution of higher education with an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students in occupational/technical programs and university-parallel/college transfer programs.

Greet and assist students.
Answer phones & emails
Schedule tutoring and testing appointments using Navigate.
Print and file testing materials.
Scan and email tests and related paperwork.
Ensure accuracy of all paperwork.
Replenish supplies
Verify proof of student identification.
Administer and monitor tests
Ensure all testing procedures and instructions are followed.
Enter all student testing information into Navigate.
Work a flexible schedule.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.


KSA's/Required Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Must be detailed oriented.
