YOUR LIFE AS A JOB PLACEMENT - CAREER SPECIALIST

This full-time vocational rehabilitation position at our human services nonprofit works during the day.

As a Job Placement - Career Specialist, you get to use your natural warmth and charm to connect with participants and build strong relationships of trust. You're a matchmaker, helping participants find the perfect Work Experience Program (WEP) assignments and job opportunities that align with their skills and interests. And, you're always on the lookout for new and exciting opportunities for our participants, building enduring relationships with employers and non-profits in the community.

Using our Fedcap CARES program, you're able to gather data and plan daily and weekly tasks that ensure everyone is on track to meet their employment goals. You're a pro at facilitating Field Training and On-the-Job training (OJT), leading to real job opportunities. Plus, as an expert in vocational rehabilitation, you're always planning exciting hiring events, retention events, and on-site employer panels that make a real difference in people's lives.

You keep careful records, track working participants in their jobs, and validate retention benchmarks, making sure everyone is set up for long-term success. And, whether you're working with stakeholders or community members, you always represent the agency with the utmost professionalism and enthusiasm.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience

Experience working as a placement specialist in a non-profit environment is preferred but not required. If you can meet these requirements and perform this vocational rehabilitation job as described above, we would be happy to have you as part of our team!
