Job Summary
Postdoctoral position in the Pulst Laboratory to study neurodegenerative diseases using cell and animal models
We are looking for a motivated and creative scientist to join our group as a postdoctoral research associate/fellow to study the role of the ATXN2 protein/RNA complex in neurodegeneration, specially in TDP43-mediated diseases like ALS, FTD, and LATE (Scoles et al, Nature 2017, Paul et al, Nature Com 2018) S.) pathological conditions using human stem cell-derived organoids (Wang et al., Nature Communications 2022).
We particularly welcome applications from recent or ready-to-graduatePh.D. students with backgrounds in molecular or cellular biology or from physician-scientists with a background in clinical aspects or neuropathology of neurodegenerative diseases
