Job Details
The Fremont Health Foundation is a sole support foundation that works to build resources and relationships that will directly support the mission of Methodist Fremont Health. The Director of Fremont Health Foundation works directly with the Fremont Health Foundation Board and hospital executives and is key leader responsible for the management and development of all aspects of the Fremont Health Foundation organization and assets. This role will work to increase financial support; streamlining organization/process improvement; overseeing marketing and communications; and engagement of community, MFH employees, volunteers, and physicians. Primary role also includes responsibility for increasing overall participation and dollars raised in annual giving while implementing major gifts and planned giving programs. Enhances current donor recognition programs, and is responsible for the planning and execution of all annual fundraising events. This leadership role also manages or supports a variety of programmatic areas as appropriate.


Minimum: A Bachelor's degree (e.g., BA,BS, BSN, BSW) and three years
experience related to donor development, fund raising and program management.
Preferred: A Master's degree (e.g., MA, MS, MBA, MSN, MSW) and ten years of experience including leading a board driven nonprofit organization.

Essential Functions

Lead all aspects of the daily operations of the Foundation including finances, budgeting, reporting, office operation, management of teams, databases, public relations and marketing, etc.
Build and maintain relationships with donors at all levels and provide excellent customer service.
Establish and execute development plan to meet the mission and needs of the organization.
Manage financial assets of the organization to meet the established goals and priorities.Ensure appropriate resource management through effective budgeting and decision making.
Provide leadership inside and outside the organization to effectively meet program goals.
Plan and execute events as necessary as a part of the operation and fund development of the organization.
Manage volunteers including Board volunteers to meet the needs of the Board and the goals of the organization.
Execute public relations plans to effectively share stories, recognize donors and promote programs to meet the goals of the Foundation.
