Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment Job Summary:

• Assists with the coordination, direction and delivery of wellness and recreation programs.
• Provides hands-on involvement in programs for the majority of their scheduled time.
• Assists in the supervision, orientation, and planning of volunteers.
• Assists in the evaluation activities within the six dimension; purposeful, emotions, physical, spiritual, social and intellectual.
• Assists in ensuring specialty programs are scheduled
• Assists with marketing, promoting and communicating materials, helping to ensure professional quality.
• Assists in maintaining community environment (including equipment and supplies).
• Assists in keeping records and inventory of supplies.
• May be required to assist driving the community van to transport residents to and from, off or on campus activities.

Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment Qualifications:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Activities experience with older adults preferred, but not required.
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• Ability to work well with a team as well as the ability to work independently.
