About Westchester Community College:
The Westchester Educational Opportunity Center (WEOC), a division of Westchester Community College, is seeking highly motivated and energetic instructional and student support personnel to join its team. Located in Yonkers, NY, WEOC provides tuition-free non-credit academic and vocational training to eligible under served adults. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and computer skills, and the ability to work with diverse populations, required.
Seeking energetic and engaging Adjunct Faculty to teach Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, and Microsoft Office Applications in a variety of vocational programs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications/Information Systems or a related field, Master's Degree, and 1 year of teaching or training experience. The successful candidate must be highly organized and detail-oriented. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills are required. The ability to establish a rapport with students and maintain an environment that supports learning and promotes student retention is also required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience teaching adult learners.
POSITION EFFECTIVE: The position will remain open until filled.
SALARY & BENEFITS: $80.95/hour. No benefits. This position is fully grant funded.
