About the organization

TEACH is a national nonprofit founded by the U.S. Department of Education. Our mission is to end the national teacher shortage and diversify the teaching profession. We are rebranding teaching and reinventing how the teaching profession recruits, meeting future teachers where they are – online, on their phones, and on social media.

Our expanding list of partner regions include: Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Colorado, Connecticut, Houston, Missouri, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

To accomplish our mission, we provide free tools and supports that demystify the pathway to becoming a teacher and help aspiring educators map out their journeys to entering the profession. As part of our mission, we are further committed to specifically increasing the number of Black and Latinx applicants to teaching programs in our partner regions.
