What We Want

The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be responsible for conducting and presenting research on statistical methodology.  As a member of the team they will also be writing and publishing papers, collaborating with other research team members, and creating software. What You Need to Know

Salary: $5,000 per month

Required Education and Experience: 

• Appropriate PhD.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Strong programming R or Python skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience

• PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics or relevant areas

• Previous research experiences in Bayesian statistics, optimization, spatial statistics, and graph models

• Previous publications in statistics or machine learning and software development experiences

Responsibilities:

• Research: Conducts and presents research on statistical methodology.

• Writing, Publishing, and Collaboration: Writes and publishes papers. Collaborates with other research team members within TAMU.

• Creating Software: Creates software for the wide dissemination of the research and performs other duties as assigned.
