The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be responsible for conducting and presenting research on statistical methodology. As a member of the team they will also be writing and publishing papers, collaborating with other research team members, and creating software. What You Need to Know
Salary: $5,000 per month
Required Education and Experience:
Appropriate PhD.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong programming R or Python skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience
PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics or relevant areas
Previous research experiences in Bayesian statistics, optimization, spatial statistics, and graph models
Previous publications in statistics or machine learning and software development experiences
Responsibilities:
Research: Conducts and presents research on statistical methodology.
Writing, Publishing, and Collaboration: Writes and publishes papers. Collaborates with other research team members within TAMU.
Creating Software: Creates software for the wide dissemination of the research and performs other duties as assigned.
