Job Description

The Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) Department in the College of Business, the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Operations and Supply Chain Management with the rank of Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2024.

Department and College/School Information
The ISOM Department offers courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Analytics, and Business Statistics in the College’s undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA, MSIS, MS Business Analytics, and Ph.D. programs. The faculty members have diverse research interests and are very active in conducting high impact research and publishing in premier research journals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Applicants must have the potential for both high-quality academic research and teaching and must be willing to support the department and its initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess a doctorate in Operations or Supply Chain Management or a related field from an AACSB accredited (or equivalent) university by the date of appointment.

 

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who have an established research record and teaching interest in supply chain management.
