The Office of Undergraduate Education, as a Division under the Provost’s Office, plays a unique role in articulating the vision of a Catholic Education and advancing this mission. At its core, the Undergraduate Education team is committed to help Notre Dame students ascend the mountain of knowledge, understanding and wisdom. Through the work of its various units, its primary purpose is to serve other parts of the University and to help develop, coordinate, and advance many of the activities that are central to the educational journey. In this process, the goal of the University is not only to create smarter students but also to form better people who help transform the world.
The University of Notre Dame’s Division of Undergraduate Education (UE) seeks a Program Director who will lead strategic initiatives, manage professional development strategies, and provide expertise to UE’s Vice President & Associate Provost. Reporting directly to the VP and Assoc. Provost, the successful incumbent, will manage special projects, recommend strategic activities, and liaise with various academic and administrative units. They will identify key barriers while independently managing complex projects for the division consisting of 7+ units. The Program Director will routinely serve as a representative of the VP & Assoc. Provost on multiple committees and initiatives. He/She will manage communication with internal and external constituents and strategic University relationships. They will be responsible for drafting correspondence on the VP & Assoc. Provost’s behalf and managing multiple budget lines. They will often be the trusted first point of contact for faculty and students as the VP and Assoc. Provost’s representative. The Program Director will also handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion, integrity, and respect.

Bachelor’s Degree
