Posting Summary
The Program Coordinator II is a is a member of the Contact Center within the division of Enrollment Management and has responsibility for assisting with and overseeing the duties typically associated with recruiting and enrolling the entering class. These duties include but are not limited to travel for recruitment; review of admissions applications, and calling potential students. The incumbent will assist with developing and implementing all initiatives associated with the daily operations of the Contact Center, including, but not limited to answering phones, electronic communications, call campaigns, status/data checks, troubleshooting application issues, as well as assisting with the implementation of a comprehensive training program for students. The person in this position will also assist with the supervision of 20-25 student workers.
The Program Coordinator II in the Contact Center is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Rutgers University–Camden Contact Center. The Contact Center answers approximately 4,000 calls per month for the offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar and Student Accounting and currently employs approximately 20 students. This position is also responsible for reviewing approximately 50-60 admissions applications per week and recruitment within the state of New Jersey.

Work Arrangement
Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. 
The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date. Minimum Education and Experience
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of university admissions and administrative functions.

Immunization Requirements


Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
