In an increasingly competitive enrollment management environment, this position supports the Enrollment Division’s vision and goals by developing the most strategic and effective use of the division’s Customer Relationship Management System (Technolutions Slate).
The position requires collaboration with the Enrollment Division’s functional units to analyze business processes, objectives, and priorities in all matters related to the functionality available through the Slate platform, ensuring it works seamlessly across the division and effectively captures all required information at key points in a student’s experience for operational and research purposes.
As a Slate Co-Captain, this position develops and oversees all training opportunities in the Enrollment Division relating to Slate. This includes understanding the division’s current operations and researching new Slate functionality.
In collaboration with the Marketing/Events/Recruitment teams, this position manages the queries and populations used in all communication plans (including email, text, and print) ensuring top standards in data quality and data integrity.
This position works collaboratively with the Project Management Program Director on projects and process improvement initiatives within the Enrollment Division.
The Assistant Director, CRM Systems understands and guides business operations as they relate to software interfaces across multiple technologies that may interface with Slate.
This position manages multiple projects simultaneously with the goal of improving overall performance/results, gaining incremental benefits, managing risk, and leveraging ROI.

- In collaboration with the Enrollment Division functional units, analyzes business processes, objectives, and priorities in all matters related to the functionality available throughout Slate (CRM system). Ensures top standards in data quality and data integrity.
- Supports functional units by providing user training and continuing education in Slate functionality. Acquires/maintains business practice knowledge and expertise, exploring further opportunities for process improvement. Provides Slate query/reporting support for functional and research teams.
- Provides data analysis, risk assessment, and recommendations to the leadership team on the use and effectiveness of the Slate solution in addition to providing updates related to the status of projects, the use of the technology by functional teams, the development and use of the software, behavioral trends, and compliance with operating procedures.
- Maintains/improves job knowledge via educational opportunities (professional publications, personal networking, professional organizations, and conferences). Performs other duties as assigned by division leaders.

* The principal work location is at the University of Notre Dame. Up to two days per week work from home may be possible after the training period has been successfully completed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Three to four years’ experience, preferably in positions such as IT systems management (including design, implementation and operational oversight), project management, and/or process improvement
- Abilitiy to work effectively in both independent and team environments
- Strong time-management skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with, computer systems and software applications, expecially Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of, and experience with, Slate CRM System and Banner
- Displaying a sincere appreciation for people of diverse backgrounds and supporting the University’s mission
