We seek a candidate with strong economics skills, ideally with a focus on macroeconomic modeling. Experience with computable general equilibrium modeling is desirable but not required.  Ideally this person would have a Ph.D. in economics or a related field. The focus of this person’s research would be on the connection between hurricanes and regional economics with a particular emphasis to understanding the implications of different policy options for low-income households and how the consequences of different policy pathways could be impacted by evolving climate.
