The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of In-Room Dining Server within the department of Morris Inn. The UEE division leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.

This position is responsible for preparing, planning and organizing food and beverage items, delivering/serving items to guests, and when requested setting the guest-room dining table. All job duties related to this position are expected to be completed in accordance with the UEE Hospitality Standards. The In-Room Dining Server will ensure all accoutrements, condiments, dishes, and silverware are available, open bottles of wine for guests, and when necessary, make additional trips to support service. Other job duties include; lifting and carrying food and beverage trays for service, bussing tables, and removing service items from guest rooms, hotel hallways, meeting/banquet rooms, hotel lobby, terrace, etc. The ideal candidate for this position will display extreme discretion, exemplary professionalism and maturity while in, and around, guest rooms and private dining/hotel areas. The In-Room Dining Server supports external guests, internal guests, and departments with joy.

This position is with University Enterprises and Events at the University of Notre Dame and is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus (1/2 paid after 90 and 180 days of continuous employment).
