What We Want

The Department of Marine and Coastal Enviornmental Science is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our research team as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research in the marine environment. The selected candidate will be responsible but not limited to organizing and curating data, estimating the econometric sorting model and supporting the research team with literature review. What you need to know

Required Education and Experience:

  • Appropriate PhD in Economics, Applied Economics, Environmental Economics, or a related discipline

Require Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A successful candidate will have strong econometric/quantitative and data analytics skills (specifically those appropriate for the econometric sorting model)

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Relevant professional/research experience preferred

  • Experience in the preparation of scientific publications

  • Experience working with large datasets

  • Experience with econometric sorting model

  • Experience with environmental valuation methods

Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and curating data

  • Estimating the econometric sorting models

  • Publications

  • Preparing manuscripts for publication and research results

  • Support in the preparation of research results

  • Performs other duties as assigned
