Job Summary: | The Department of Biostatistics and Informatics (BIOS) of the Colorado School of Public Health (CSPH) has an opening for a full-time postdoctoral research fellow position. The successful candidate for this position will work with the Medical Image Phenotyping Lab (MIP) and will report to Dr. Antonio R. Porras, PhD. The selected candidate will benefit from and contribute to multiple existing collaborations between BIOS, MIP and the top-ranked hospitals in the Anschutz Medical Campus: Children’s Hospital Colorado and University of Colorado Hospital. Specifically, the selected candidate will work on projects funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that aim to develop image computing and deep learning methods to understand and identify both normal and pathological pediatric development to improve patient care. The new postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for the design and development of novel medical image computing and machine/deep learning methods. Their scope may include image segmentation, image registration, disease screening and diagnosis, discovery of new image-based biomarkers, quantitative image-based phenotyping, anatomical modeling and/or predictive analysis. In addition, the selected candidate will collaborate with other faculty, students and physicians in the clinical translation of the developed methods. Key Responsibilities:

Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range ) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: $65,000 to $80,000 The above salary range (or hiring range ) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
