Job Description

SALESFORCE PROJECT MANAGER, MIT Professional Education (PE), to work with functional leaders/program teams/subject matter experts on documenting business requirements and training materials and conducting user acceptance testing across PE’s IT development, software integration, and configuration projects; and represent the interests of the CRM at governance meetings and throughout PE’s business units.  Will supervise and work with a system administrator to administer and configure the Salesforce application and recommend technical approaches; lead all aspects of the software development lifecycle; support staff in the implementation and management of Salesforce; and oversee the CRM budget. 

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED:  B.A/B.S.; four years’ business analyst/IT project manager experience developing detailed business and functional requirements, conducting user acceptance testing and end-user training, and managing a Salesforce environment; experience developing requirements for CRM projects/implementation; previous responsibility for point and click administration of mission-critical systems; excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational, documentation, customer service, interpersonal, presentation, and oral and written communication skills; supervisory experience; proven success leading projects from beginning to end; knowledge of budget and financial review; and proficiency with project management tools.  Must be able to build productive, collaborative working relationships with individuals at all levels; drive technically complex projects; prioritize simultaneous priorities/requests, adapt to changes, and meet deadlines; evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding; assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and upstream and downstream applications/systems/processes; and make data-driven decisions.  PREFERRED: Salesforce system administrator, developer, or architect experience; experience with cloud-based programs, including SAP, Pardot, Concur, Quip, Slack, etc.; and experience working in higher education or at MIT.  Job #21594-9
