Postdoctoral Fellow

 

Description of Lab/Group/Area:  
Our research group is composed of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and professors. We are passionate about research and dedicate to using biotechnological approaches to enhance animal performance and molecular agriculture products such as cultivated meat.

Description of Position: This position is ideally suited to a highly motivated candidate who has a strong background in molecular biology. The candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in a related field obtained within the last five years. An excellent publication record is desired. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.

Expected Candidate Experience:
The individual will be expected to be able to conduct cellular and molecular studies, and has strong microbiology background. Experience in recombinant protein production and yeast fermentation is preferred.  

General duties:
This is a cutting-edge project in which we collaborate with a biotech company, therefore there is a lot of opportunity to interact with industry partners. The postdoctoral fellow will play a major role in a project to produce recombinant protein using microorganisms. He/she is expected to be able to conduct cellular and molecular studies and has strong microbiology background. Experience in recombinant protein production and yeast fermentation is preferred.
