Group Psychotherapy Coordinator

Job Description

GROUP PSYCHOTHERAPY COORDINATOR, MIT Medical, to respond to a growing campus need for and have expertise in group psychotherapy, treatment, and workshop initiatives. Will report to the associate chief of Student Mental Health & Counseling Services and have no direct reports, but will eventually convene peer supervision opportunities for colleagues facilitating groups as well as supervise trainees.  

Job Requirements:
REQUIRED: Ph.D., Psy.D., or LICSW; advanced licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration; and at least least three years of clinical experience or completion of a fellowship in college mental health. The ideal clinician will have experience working with college-aged students (both clinically and providing community education/outreach interventions) using a variety of group modalities, be familiar with the literature in this area, demonstrate knowledge of theories regarding group treatment, and be attuned to how such theories may be utilized in a campus setting.   Job #22606-9
