Job Description
COORDINATOR, ACADEMIC PROGRAMS AND EVENTS, Sloan School of Management, to play a key role in coordinating and executing on the logistics, operations, finances, and delivery of the center’s academic courses. Will be responsible for determining and managing course requirements; including internal and external resources, understanding the nature and purpose of courses, reviewing syllabi and assignment dates, and effectively communicating with various stakeholders; collaborating with faculty and staff to deliver courses designed to engage MIT students across campus to help them become more effective entrepreneurs; liaising between the center and entrepreneurship-focused student clubs as they plan events, seek resources, and share best practices; providing tours of the center to visiting groups; assisting with the preparation and delivery of on- and off-site events; and working with the marketing director to attract students across campus to Trust Center courses and activities.

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least two years of administrative and/or project/program management experience; strong computer and technical skills, including proficiency with MS Office, Google Drive, etc., and ability to learn new programs quickly; and discretion and judgment with confidential information and/or issues. Must be able to organize, set priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision; multitask; collaborate with with multiple stakeholders concurrently; and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. PREFERRED: experience in a related field, preferably academic coordination in higher education; and familiarity with MIT and Sloan policies and procedures. Job #22255-6
