Trusted for 85 years, Foundation Wellness, a manufacturer of branded and custom-engineered health and wellness products is seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to lead our Distribution Center in Wadsworth, OH. We are looking for a person who thrives in a fast paced pick, pack and ship warehouse environment.

The Opportunity

• An eye for safety, this person will ensure safety compliance, workplace cleanliness and organization
• Lead the Distribution Center in meeting/exceeding, daily, weekly, and monthly KPI targets
• Facilitate projects that will advance the organization forward including the implementation of a cycle count program to eliminate annual physical inventory
• Coach and mentor Supervisors and Team Members to grow with the company
• Work cross-functionally with Customer Service, Operations, Sales, Marketing, IT, and Supply Chain to improve company-wide processes and the customer experience
• Be the subject matter expert for the Inventory Management System and partner with IT on improvements/enhancements
• Analyze shipping volumes to make decisions that will reduce cost, including negotiation with vendors (UPS, Fed-Ex, Motor Freight)
• Look for opportunities for Continuous Improvement within the department to improve processes, layout, flow, and efficiency

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or 10 or more years of related experience and/or training (or combination of education and experience)
• Knowledge and experience using ERP and Inventory Management software, UPS/Fed-Ex Systems, and other distributions systems, racking and technology
• Strong understanding of various freight methods and associated costs
• Excellent people leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects to completion within their department
