Community Care College is searching for a Campus Director/Director of Education to lead this dynamic team. The Campus Director/Director of Education reports to the President. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Business is required. Minimum five years in Higher Education Management with a minimum of one year of building administration experience, with classroom teaching leadership experience. Experience and knowledge of enrollment, financial aid, admissions, accreditation compliance, curriculum development, and human resources is a big plus. Analyzes areas of growth, profit, and opportunity for the organization. Must be able to demonstrate a high level of conceptual and strategic thinking to establish budgets and meet annual goals.

The Campus Director/Director of Education provides leadership, direction, supervision, and accountability for the Campus and its programs. The Director organizes, directs, evaluates, and supervises the campus staff, provides instructional leadership, and develops and implements curriculum and programming for both online and on-ground academic programs at Community Care College. This position directs and oversees the daily operations of the campus. Above all, we’re looking for a strong leader –someone who knows how to build teams, trust, and collaboration.

This position is a salaried role that will require flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the campus and provide a presence for both day and evening faculty. Full-time with benefits!

 


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and maintains a safe, effective learning environment aligned with company policies
  • Monitors Instructor’s and Department Head’s success in classes by formal observation and evaluation
  • Establishes and maintains positive, proactive public relations and clear, consistent communications within the college and throughout the surrounding community, including program marketing and student services
  • Provide leadership for the academic programs and curriculum innovation, and administer and carry out educational policies and procedures
  • Ensure the curriculum for each program is up to date, reviewed periodically, and meets Accreditation Standards
  • Provide for comprehensive orientation of new faculty members, including updating and maintaining faculty handbook, monthly faculty forum, and regular faculty training
  • Ensure faculty compliance with teaching methodology requirements for ACCSC and all other regulatory bodies
  • Be knowledgeable with accreditation compliance agencies such as OBPVS, NATEF, ACCSC, etc.
  • Conduct Department Head evaluations and Faculty peer reviews expediently and as needed/required
  • Work closely with faculty and department heads providing counsel to students
  • Ensure proper paperwork is completed for any corrective action or student expulsion
  • Be available to Department Heads for counsel when students are placed on probation, ensure correct follow-up as needed
  • Monitor student retention in all programs, stay informed of current statistics, evaluate and assist faculty with retention efforts making necessary improvements or changes as needed, and work closely with Admissions and the Director of Compliance in this effort
  • Assist Human Resources with new hires, supervises and evaluate direct reports
  • Ability to supervise and train faculty/staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and completing compliance requirements
  • Assist in the planning of educational in-services for faculty such as Faculty Forums and as needed to maintain professional development
  • Perform other professional duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of college teaching or administration experience
  • Master's degree or higher is preferred
  • Minimum five years in Higher Education Management with a minimum of one year of building administration experience, with classroom teaching leadership experience
  • History of proven success in a managerial role is also required
