Postdoctoral Research Associate: Impacts and Human Responses to Climate Change

The Center for Policy Research on Energy and the Environment at Princeton University invites applications for a postdoctoral or more senior researcher to conduct research on the impacts of climate change and resulting human responses. Successful applicants should be skilled in econometric or other quantitative methods and modeling approaches applied to assessment of human migration and other sensitivities and responses to climate change. This research effort aims to combine diverse methods and lines of evidence to assess the probability of climate change impacts and outcomes. The position reports to Professor Michael Oppenheimer and Professor Filiz Garip and will collaborate with other researchers in Princeton's Department of Geosciences, Office of Population Research, and High Meadows Environmental Institute. The appointment will be through the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. The appointment is for one year, and may be renewed pending satisfactory performance and continued funding. A PhD is required in a related field. Salary and full employee benefits are offered in accordance with University guidelines.
