The first community college established in Arkansas, Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) is a multi-campus, two-year college serving Eastern Arkansas. PCCUA has academic, occupational/technical and continuing education programs and offers over 25 associate degree programs with campuses in DeWitt, Helena-W. Helena and Stuttgart. Summary of Job Duties:

Provide theory and clinical instruction for ADN students on the Stuttgart campus; Collaborate and participate in college/nursing committee work as well as on-going nursing curriculum development; Maintain clinical competency and develop/maintain skills in a variety of teaching/learning methodologies including distance education and web enhanced courses; Travel to and from clinical sites within a 75 mile radius as well as periodic travel to other PCCUA campuses.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with two years of recent clinical experience required. Master’s Degree in Nursing with two years of recent clinical experience preferred. Previous experience in nursing education preferred. Must have an active, unencumbered license to allow practice as a registered nurse in Arkansas and demonstrate expertise and competence in nursing practice


Additional Information:

Candidates must submit three professional letters of reference and copies of transcripts for all post-secondary work as well as nursing licensure.
