The MBA & MSx Programs office of the Stanford Graduate School of Business seeks an Assistant Director, Global Experiences. Reporting to the Director, Global Experiences, the Assistant Director is responsible for leading and maintaining business processes and operations, developing program content and marketing collateral, and advising students for the Global Experiences portfolio of programs. These responsibilities are executed with an intercultural lens to create opportunities for student growth and development.

 

To thrive in this role, the Assistant Director should demonstrate excellent project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently, problem solving, comfort with online systems management, strong interpersonal skills, and passion for international education.

 

Please note: This is a full-time, student-facing position where work is expected to be performed on site. Potentially eligible for hybrid work based on demonstrated competency of your role and responsibilities.

 

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Leading operations and business processes, including coordinating program logistics, maintaining online resources, tracking program deliverables, organizing events like information sessions, and supporting student leadership recruitment processes
  • Collaborating with the Global Experiences team to develop global business-focused programs and related content that support intercultural learning and understanding as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Advising students as they create and deliver impactful experiential programs for their peers
  • Maintaining online data management systems: Salesforce, Canvas, Excel, Google Suite
  • Understanding and communicating all relevant Stanford policies to students to ensure that they adhere to them

 

 

To be successful in this position, you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

 

In addition, preferred requirements include:

  • International experience (educational and/or professional) and an understanding of higher education
  • Excellent program management, systems and operations management, attention to detail, proactivity, and interpersonal skills
  • An MBA or Master’s degree with a global focus in a related field (e.g. business, education, international affairs or policy, learning and development, etc.)

 

The expected pay range for this position is $66,100 - $101,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
