- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar field, and three years of experience in digital marketing and/or content writing; or combination of higher education and experience equal to seven years.
- Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading and editing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with groups both internal and external.
- Must have the ability to use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or similar) to independently design digital and print-ready communications.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using web content management systems, with proficiency in HTML and CSS.
- Experience developing and managing social media campaigns across channels such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
- Experience of photography and creating/editing images, using packages such as Adobe Photoshop.
- Able to deliver a range of concurrent projects on-time.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and structure work schedule.
- Good written and oral communication skills. Copywriting and copyediting experience is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Relevant digital marketing qualification and/or training.
- Experience managing the technology component of webinars, preferably using Zoom or similar.
- An understanding of or experience in developing email marketing campaigns. (Proven experience in creating high-impact, and unique marketing campaigns)

- Executing Alumni Relations’ email strategy, including conceptualizing, designing, creating, segmenting, and scheduling emails to alumni and other constituents in collaboration with all areas of the university.
- Responsible for branded, engaging, and inspiring design that delivers strategic messages on all platforms. Identify target audiences, tone, and purpose of each email.
- Coordinate production of two regular e-newsletters which features links to updated news and other content from both internal and external units.
- Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, spelling, and be sure all brand guidelines are followed.
- Create and update an editorial calendar, track progress on all communications projects, set deadlines, and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Work to ensure that UNH’s quality standards and brand guidelines are followed in all communications.
Duty/Responsibility
- Develop, produce, schedule, and manage social media content for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Monitor and optimize social media channels and respond to community questions and concerns.
- Grow Alumni Relations’ presence across social media channels.
- Measure the success of social media campaigns through reports and dashboards.
- Monitor social media traffic using analytics tools such as Facebook Insights and SproutSocial.
- Experience in identifying target audience and devising campaigns in order to engage, inform and convert.
Duty/Responsibility
- Execute website strategy, including developing and maintaining the website, regularly updating stories and content, and providing support for the maintenance of other pages.
- Develop, manage and proactively maintain website content, with responsibility for master schedule, optimization and analytics.
- Collaborate with the Alumni Board to curate content plans for campaign components, such as digital ads and landing pages.
