Job Description:
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing bioinformatics algorisms and analysis pipelines for genomic and metagenomic Next Generation Sequencing large data set from veterinary diagnostic samples.
• Conduct literature review, identify research questions, hypotheses, design and conduct scientific studies to test said hypotheses.
• Write grant proposals for competitive fund acquiring.
• Write and submit manuscripts for peer reviewed publications.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in microbiology 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Documented expertise via published peer review manuscripts in bioinformatics.

• In addition to bioinformatics expertise, general laboratory skills and specific skills in microbiology, and molecular microbiology.
