Job Description

Synthetic and stem cell endocrinology: Postdoctoral and research specialist positions are available

The Sasaki lab is a relatively new laboratory, which opened in 2018 at the University of Pennsylvania. We are looking for highly motivated postdoctoral fellows and research specialists related to our primary research goals that are directed toward understanding human gonadal and adrenal development and their reconstitution in vitro using pluripotent stem cells.

We aim at establishing robust methods to derive fully functional human adrenal cortex and gonad in dish and reconstitute hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal/gonadal axis.

Our studies on human adrenogenesis and gonadogenesis will transform human endocrinology and reproduction.

Ph.D. and/or M.D. scientists trained in any fields of biology are welcome. Candidates with a background of bioinformatics/computational biology are particularly encouraged to apply. Any interested individuals should send their CV and a summary of research accomplishments to:  ksasaki@upenn.edu
