, is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach courses in Finance and Personal Financial Planning. We are especially interested in applicants who can strengthen the diversity of our academic community.Please note, the Finance faculty position is located at our main campus in Phoenix, AZ.

What you will do:

Be engaging by preparing lectures that stimulate classroom discussions

Bring finance and financial planning industry concepts to life for undergraduate students

Network to provide internships and job placements
-
Continue to remain current in the field of finance and financial planning and effective teaching techniques. Participates in faculty and CCOB meetings and College/University committee activities

Supports the integrity of the GCU Christian mission, faith integration & learning outcomes
What you need:
-
PhD or DBA in Personal Financial Planning, Finance, or related business discipline is preferred or MBA/Finance/Financial Planning graduate degree.

Hold Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification.

Post-secondary experience teaching finance or personal financial planning courses.

Significant (5+ years desired), documented, industry experience in corporate finance, investments, personal financial planning, or banking is required.

Ability and experience teaching across disciplines (e.g. personal finance, corporate finance, economics, accounting, etc.) is a plus.
