Cedar Sinai Park is looking for a full-time Resident Care Manager (RCM)!
This is a full-time, benefited position (day shift with weekend on-call phone rotation).

We are located at 6125 SW Boundary St. Portland, Oregon 97221, in the Raleigh Hills area of southwest Portland. We are on bus line 54 and 56 from Portland to Beaverton.

This is a great steady position at a 103-year-old organization and is a perfect job for a friendly and dependable person who wants to make a difference with serving the geriatric population.

Summary- The primary purpose of this position is coordinating all nursing care on an assigned unit and is accountable for managing the nursing care of assigned residents. The RCM collaborates with other RCMs in an atmosphere of teamwork to provide comprehensive care management for residents.

  • Manages unit with assigned resident census.
  • Knows and practices Nursing Department philosophy, standards, policies and procedures.
  • Participates in daily MACC (management of acute conditions).
  • Mentor and teach staff, with the partnership of the Director of Nursing.
  • Participates in the orientation for new staff and evaluates progress.
  • Communicates with residents and their families to determine satisfaction with care. Maintains an attractive and comfortable environment for the residents with special consideration to cleanliness, ventilation, and noise level.
  • Participates actively in quality assurance programs.

Requirements:

We have high standards. Qualifications include:

  • Professional and interpersonal skills.
  • Consistent execution of quality customer service
  • Ethical conduct
  • Able to effectively communicate with geriatric and/or confused residents and a variety of other people such as family members, visitors, vendors, Private Duty Residents, and staff.
  • Positive and constructive attitude.
  • Supervises CNAs and Nurses that provide direct care to the RCM’s assigned residents.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience
  • Current licensure in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse, and is in good standing with the Oregon State Board of Nursing. First Aid and CPR.
