Job Summary | The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking candidates for full-time Research Assistant Professor. This is a 12-month non-tenure eligible position in the Research title series with an anticipated start date of January 2023. The initial appointment period will be through June 30, 2023 and is renewable based on the ability of the candidate to secure extramural funding. Research experience in the area of organic synthesis, materials chemistry, and electrochemistry, the latter including cyclic voltammetry, bulk electrolysis, and the assembly and cycling of redox flow batteries. Researchers will have the ability to take advantage of collaborative opportunities in the Department and on-campus. A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field and postdoctoral experience (minimum of 3 years) is required. Prior mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students is required.
